Can I visit the Dye Studio without a booking?

The Threads of Life Dye Studio is a working studio and is open by booking only for workshop participants. Unlike our retail gallery, the studio is not open for walk-in visits.

If you're interested in experiencing natural dyes with us, please reserve your place through our booking calendar or contact our team for assistance.



Which dates are available to book?

Our Dye Studio is open Monday to Friday.

The dates available for booking are shown as clickable dates in the booking calendar. Dates that are unavailable cannot be selected.



Can I book a private group workshop?

Yes. We are happy to arrange private group workshops for families, friends, schools, or organisations.

Please contact us by email or WhatsApp to discuss your preferred date, group size, and workshop options.



Is there a minimum age to join the workshops?

Our workshops are suitable for different age groups:

As our Dye Studio is an active working studio, participants may be working around hot wax, heated dye baths, and other equipment. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.



Can I purchase natural dye materials and supplies?

Yes. The Dye Studio offers a small selection of materials and tools for creative projects, including scoured fabrics, cotton threads, scarves, T-shirts, canting tools, and other workshop supplies.

These items are available for purchase during your workshop or by contacting us in advance if you're looking for something specific.



What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other major debit and credit cards through our secure payment partner, DOKU.

We also accept direct bank transfers in IDR, USD, GBP, SGD, JPY, EUR, and AUD.



Which bank accounts can I transfer to?

For payments in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), bank transfers can be made to our BCA or Maybank accounts.

For payments in USD, GBP, SGD, JPY, EUR, and AUD, transfers can be made to our Maybank account.

Bank account details will be provided at checkout and in your booking confirmation email.



When should I complete my payment?

To secure your place, we recommend completing your payment as early as possible.

International bank transfers typically take 3–7 business days to reach our account. If you choose this payment method, please avoid booking at the last minute, as we can only confirm your reservation once payment has been received.

For local bank transfers within Indonesia, please complete your payment at least two days before your scheduled class or workshop.



Is my payment secure?

Yes. All card payments are processed securely through DOKU using encrypted payment systems.



Will I receive a booking confirmation?

Yes. Once your booking has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details. Your reservation will be confirmed once payment has been successfully received.



I haven't received my booking confirmation email. What should I do?

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still cannot locate your confirmation email, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.



Can I change or cancel my booking?

If you need to change or cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to our booking and cancellation policy.
